What is a Pod?
This unusual igloo-like dwelling is a comfortable cocoon of refined design with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a unique experience in these huts/bubbles cozy heated by a wood-burning stove. In addition to a bay window overlooking the valley, the pods offer state-of-the-art technology and combine ecology and luxury for an unforgettable, atypical stay. In addition to their terrace, the Suites versions feature a sauna or private bath from which you can enjoy breathtaking views. After a convivial aperitif by the fire with a view of the sunset, a culinary show is organized for an exceptional gastronomic experience in the company of the Chef. A meal cooked under the eyes of the participants for a true culinary journey through the Swiss Alps, accompanied by local wines.
- Lunch on Day 2 : Fondue party
A traditional lunch in an alpine chalet to discover the best-known Swiss gastronomic specialty: fondue. After sharing platters of charcuterie typical of the region, participants were able to choose between different specialities: the classic half-and-half, 100% vacherin or beer fondue.
Activities
- Snowshoe excursion
Snowshoeing on groomed trails and paths through the woods, accompanied by a certified guide. Depart from the Pods for lunch.
- Valais wine tasting
A tasting of 3 glasses of wine with commentary by a sommelier to discover the wines of the Valais region. Starting with the classic fendant, a dry, mineral wine, followed by 2 indigenous grape varieties; humagne rouge, a red wine that expresses its typical rustic yet elegant character, and finally a petite Arvine vinified as a sweet wine.
- Dog sledding
A unique experience to discover the art of harnessing and driving dogs. Meet the pack of huskies, these extraordinary dogs. Participants were able to tame them, stroke them and take part in harnessing them, before sledding back down to the pods. An exhilarating ride in the heart of nature!
